Message	the problem with the warranty is they take it out, they fix it, and they give it back. This takes them about a month. That headunit was also second from top of the line from kenwood when i bought it, it wasn't cheap, and a lot of stores retailed it higher than a z828. Oh, and now that im looking around at various reviews i notice that a lot of other peoples units have done the same thing. Speaks volumes for kenwoods quality.
